Hi, my name is Carole Wurster, the Lead Teacher at the Titusville Center. I began my teaching career as a kindergarten teacher in the Baltimore City Public Schools in Baltimore, MD. After having children, I returned to Oil City and began teaching at the Titusville Head Start center in September 1992. My second year I transferred to the Oil City Head Start Center as an assistant teacher and worked my way up to Lead Teacher. In 2008 I transferred back to Titusville to work as a Head Start/Pre-K Counts teacher collaborating with Titusville School District. I have been with FCCA over 28 years. I graduated with my BS in ECE/Elementary Education from Clarion University and earned my Master’s in 2015 in Education with a concentration in ECE.
When I have time, I love spending it with my 2-year-old granddaughter, reading, doing puzzles, walking, and riding bikes.
